However, at the moment we are catless, and it does please me that the birds who are building a nest on our back porch are this year, building in safety. We’ve had some happy cats and some sad birds on this porch. Reply Cathy Chester Post authorApril 10, 2013 at 7:54 AM Oh, Barbara, I know what you mean! Our cats were outdoor cats (not a good decision, but they were our first cats) until they had a big fight with a neighboring cat. We used to “find” all sorts of critters they’d proudly bring home. We also have bear, coyote and fox who would all love to view our kitties as candy. Now they stay indoors! I love nature, but it saddens me to see such fighting. Kind of like people, eh? Thanks for sharing your story. Best~ Cathy Reply Jill April 10, 2013 at 7:52 AM Cute photo! I let the little one out on the back deck yesterday for the first time and now I’ve created a monster. She wants to go in and out every two minutes. My husband says I can teach a cat that doesn’t meow very much to meow all the time in about half an hour flat LOL.
