  1. I remember a few years back when my daughter was 3 Santa didn't get the dogs any gifts, I was trying to save money so omitted our four legged friends. After we opened all our gift Christmas morning she was very quite and seemed really upset. I asked her what was wrong, she looked up at me and said, "The dogs must have been very bad this year, Santa didn't bring them anything." They have gotten gifts every year since. Sometimes it takes a 3 year old to teach you that all of our family members need something under the tree.

  2. Thanks for a great list!!!! My niece is a huge dog lover and I know she would love something that gives back, thanks!!

  3. My dog wants me to win the Shorty Shortbread. She told me so. Really. Meantime, I am going to make her that t-shirt. Thanks for the easy tip and chance to win treats that support pets and the ASPCA. My cats want to know if you will be doing a Caterpillar Tractor giveaway

  4. You can also give the gift of time to animals in need. Local shelters love to have volunteers to walk the dogs, play with cats or even help with fundraisers. For those who have the heart and the right home become a foster parent for animals looking for a forever home.

    For the Love of Cats
In October, our cat "Smalls" did not come home. We searched extensively for him. A few weeks later on Facebook an acquaintance posted a picture of a stray cat that had been visiting her house looking for food. I was certain it was our cat!!!! Our hopes were quickly dashed when it was not him but there is a happy ending...we now have a new member of our household! We love our new cat "Zoe" and are grateful for the opportunity to give a stray cat a warm and loving place to live. And we still hold out hope that our cat "Smalls" is somewhere safe and will find his way home.

  5. We just rescued a female pit that was abandoned near our house. She had been shot in the head but the bullet just went through the top layer of skin and not into her skull 🙁 and I really wish we could find the horrible person that did this to her and left her for dead on the side of the road so he/she can get what she deserves. We already have 1 Boxer and 3 other rescues so I would love to win one of these gift packs for my fur babies this Christmas!
