Almost Wordless Wednesday: The Diet Starts Tomorrow? Hello Homemade Chocolate Sundae And Tony Soprano

By Cathy Chester on November 20, 2013

I hate to admit it, but it's time.  To lose a few pounds. This week, I'll be embarking on a new diet plan (check back next week to see how I'm doing!) In preparation of sewing my lips together (just joking), we went to our favorite old-time ice cream parlor to indulge in some out-of-this-world homemade ice cream.  With hot fudge.  And whipped cream.  (It also happens to be where the last scene of "The Soprano's" took place.  You know the one.  Where the screen went blank, and you had no idea what the ending meant.) Scroll through the photos to take a look at our trip.

The last scene of "The Soprano's" was filmed here. Tour buses still pour in to see where Tony and Carmella were last seen. RIP, James Gandolfini.

These Mix Masters are outdated, but they still make the best egg creams around! If you have to ask, you should probably ask your parents!

  1. Ice Cream is my favorite food in the world. These pictures are making my mouth water, truly water! Dieting during this time of year is not easy. I admire your conviction, and going out with a bang, or a fade to black screen!

  2. Good luck with your diet, Cathy. But now I"m feeling very, very tempted to go out for some ice cream, too! Loved the photos...must show my hubby and sons (big Soprano fans!)
